KEEP IN MIND - Since Contention is an island, all the horses here were born here. When the Gods massacred the lands it was mostly royal families, not everyone. This being said having ties to past royal families is nearly impossible. Also, when writing history, remember there was a peace treaty until just recently, so unless your character is 15+ years old they were living in the time of the peace treaty, or during the Kingless rule where everyone just kinda did their own thing for a bit. It's only been around the last few years or so that problems are occurring with the old peace treaty.

Character Creation

• Characters must retain enough equid appearance to still be recognized as a horse. Unnatural markings, colors, deformities, wings, jewelry, masks, etc. are acceptable and do not require a purchase.
• An appearance will not give a character any sort of advantage in a fight.
• Appearances that are granted through a power are not allowed. These include metal body parts, extremities that fade into particles of some sort, and a glow.
• Nothing granting any extra power is aaccepted. This includes additions such as venom or poison, among other things.
• Hybrids can only be created through on-site breeding with a store purchase.
• God-modeling is strictly forbidden.
• Horses under the age of 2 only have the knowledge of their magic and their innate ability. On their second birthday, they gain the Novice level. Every level afterward is purchased in the Market.
